Tailor-Made Wedding Ceremonies

With every tailor-made ceremony we create, we begin with a blank page. We start by giving you some questions to reflect upon such as what getting married means to you and what you love about each other. We find out personal information such as your past and current religious or spiritual beliefs.

You can choose to do written answers or we can arrange to meet or speak on the phone to go through them together. Once we’ve spoken to each of you both, you might like to then share with each other what you said, or you can leave it as a surprise until the first draft of the ceremony.

We also gather all the information about what atmosphere you’d like to create and how long you’d like the ceremony to last; which readings you’d like (if any – we’ve collated a large selection for you to choose from if you need suggestions). We ask you to consider if there’ll be music or singing, and if you’d like any particular rituals included. Also we get you to think about who else will be involved if you have family members or friends you’d like to take part.

Once we’ve gathered all the information from you we weave it all into a ceremony. You don’t need to worry about how that’s all going to happen, it’s our job to bring it all together. When we reach this point we either email you a written copy, or arrange to read it through with you in person or by phone, and our preparations include any amendments or changes you’d like to be made.

Below we have quite a traditional ceremony structure – we could include some or all of these elements or we can get creative, it’s up to you!

UNIQUE WEDDING

We take our lead from you with every aspect you’d like to have included in this ceremony option resulting in a unique wedding ceremony customised and created for you and tailored to your needs, held by either one of us.

With this ceremony option we support you to take time to make your inner preparations, to think deeply about taking the step. We'll work with you to prepare and gather information in whichever way works best for you - face to face, by phone, by Skype, by email or by mail.

The £450 fee includes

• Gathering information from one or both of you to cover content and practical elements

• Gathering personal information from each of you

• Support to write your own personal and meaningful vows

• Creating and writing the ceremony

• An email or read through to make sure you’re happy with everything

• A printed copy of your ceremony to keep

• Staying in touch and checking in with you in the lead up to your big day

• Final preparations (rehearsal, or choreography, or quiet time just before)

• The holding of the ceremony on the day by Angie or Will

HIS and HERS WEDDING

The £600 fee includes all the above with the ceremony creation by Angie, and the rehearsal/choreography and ceremony held by Angie and Will together.

This is the unique wedding ceremony option tailored to your needs but with the additional unique aspect of being held by both of us together as a couple which for some people would symbolise the masculine and the feminine.

WEDDING CEREMONY CREATION

The £300 fee includes gathering information, support to write your own vows, ceremony creation including choreographic notes and your ceremony by post or email. Again we take our lead from you with every aspect you’d like to have included in this ceremony option and create a unique wedding ceremony written just for you but we don’t hold it – instead it’s held by your choice of another minister or friend or family member.
