Wedding Ceremonies Catering to Your Every Need

We’ve created three different ceremony options so that we can respond to all requests for us to hold ceremony – we call them Tailor-made, Themed and Simple. They offer different levels of preparation for us and for you, and different lengths, structures, content and costs.

It’s our goal to make sure that your ceremony is the least of your worries preparation wise; that you can relax knowing that we will guide you and let you know what you need to do when, and that the end result will be a ceremony according to your wishes.

With every ceremony option you can choose to include only those elements that mean something to you to have included – personal (legal) vows and ring/gift exchange; ritual, music and readings of your choice and who takes part in those; and as much or as little guest participation as you feel fitting depending on who will be present at your ceremony. With your personal vows, music, readings and ritual, we give you lots of suggestions and ideas to inspire, help and guide you if needed.

If it’s important to you to take time to reflect on the step you’re about to take to be married, and to prepare yourselves both with all the obvious outer practical concerns, and also your own inner preparations, the Tailor-made or Themed options would most likely best meet your needs.

If you want your preparations to be kept to a minimum or would like the ceremony to be short and simple, the Simple option would be perfect.

TAILOR-MADE
This is a customized, bespoke, personalised ceremony in every sense. We invite you to share your vision and ideas with us, and we identify all the different aspects which are important to you to have as part of your personal and unique ceremony. We offer ideas, suggestions and guidance as needed, and begin writing with a blank page so that the resulting ceremony is an organic weaving together of all your chosen elements into a unique ceremony.

We can use prayer, invocation and meditation as we prepare, as some couples prefer this particular way of us preparing their ceremony.

This ceremony option can work just as well for bride, groom and witnesses only, as for a large gathering of 200+, or any number inbetween.

THEMED
This is for you if you like the idea of a ceremony which is very personal to you, which could also be very engaging for any guests present if you wish. We use your choice of ritual(s), readings and music to create a very meaningful wedding address, which together with your personal vows makes for a very memorable experience for all present. This can work as well for just a bride and groom and witnesses, as for a large gathering of 200+, or any number inbetween.

We can begin with your choice of Theme which will give us ideas for order, structure and content (and suggestions for ritual, readings and music though most brides and grooms prefer to choose their own) – you can also choose this option with no specific theme. Rather than starting with a completely blank page a Themed ceremony adapts an existing flexible script (or scripts and ideas from different Themes) until the ceremony is completely fitting and personal to you, thereby making it unique to you.

SIMPLE
This could be for you if you like the idea of a short and simple, yet personal and unique ceremony. There is no active guest involvement, and no music or ritual within the ceremony. Just music to begin and end with, and one reading of your choice.
