Expenses apply to all ceremony options unless your ceremony is so close to our house we can walk!
If you’re able to give us the postcode of where your ceremony will be held we will be able to work out all our expenses in advance and give you a quotation. Expenses could include
Overnight expenses
We are very open to travelling to hold ceremony throughout the UK and overseas if all our expenses are covered. To stay overnight our expenses would include meals and accommodation in addition to our travel.
Sometimes we may need to charge an away from home fee.
Travel
The cost of the plane, train or bus ticket
35p - 50p per mile driving, depending on fuel prices, to any meetings we have, travel to and from the ceremony, and any parking charges
£5 per hour or part hour to travel to anywhere further than one hour or 30miles from home
Miscellaneous
If there were any other expenses, such as buying some special oil or a special candle for use during the ceremony, this would only be with your prior agreement
Phone Calls For Overseas Clients
Once we’ve agreed to work together if we need to speak over the phone, we ask that you cover the long distance telephone expenses please. We have a phone plan that allows us to speak for up to an hour for free over a UK landline. We can Skype which doesn’t cost either of us anything. But if speaking long distance either we ask you to call us please or you agree to pay our telephone expenses.
